Valentine’s Day is fast approaching and instead of giving your sweetheart the usual unimaginative chocolate and flower gifts, what better way to say ‘I love you’ than with a Nintendo DSi – in hot pink.

The biggest news of the year so far about Nintendo’s hand-held offerings was the scaled-up DSi XL, which sports a larger screen and stylus – no doubt aimed at the more senior market especially as it comes preloaded with Dr Kawashima’s Brain Training.

But prior to the XL’s March 5th release date comes this new colour scheme for the DSi, which is apparently aimed at the female demographic as it comes bundled with Nintendo Presents Style Boutique.

Expect to see the hot pink DSi launching on the 12th February – so make sure you get your pre-orders in  if you want to be in your better half’s good books on the 14th.
