Windows Vista On Your Mobile

It’s not strictly a mobile device, but the HTC Shift ultra mobile PC does have 3G, Wifi and GSM telephony. It’s based on the HTC X7500, which is currently on sale in the UK as the T-Mobile Ameo, the HTC Shift runs on Windows Vista Business. The full specs are too long to list but include Wifi, triband GSM, 3G, HSDPA, QWERTY keyboard, 7 inch touchscreen, 1GB of RAM and a 30GB hard drive. Also announced today is the HTC X7501, a variation of the X7500 running Windows Mobile 6. The HTC X7501 is expected to be available soon and the HTC Shift expected later in the summer.
