After a few weeks of rumours Dell have officially launched the Dell Inspiron 11z in the USA and it should be officially launched in the UK in the next week
Microsoft’s Windows 7 includes some enhancements and features for touch screen computing but until now there hasn’t been much news from the netbook manufactures about how they are going to use these new features. For example Asus recently launched the T91 touch screen netbook in their Eee PC range using custom software on top of Windows XP. But now Sony has spilled the beans about their intentions with Windows 7 and netbooks with touch screens.
The Asus Eee PC T91 touchscreen tablet netbook was announced at CES in January of this year with Asus hoping to repeat the netbook revolution it started with the Asus Eee PC 701 but this time with an Eee PC that has a touchscreen which can swivel around to turn it into a tablet. The T91 went in sale in the USA this week and should reach the UK soon. The question is should you buy one or stick with your iPod Touch?
Although the Samsung NC20 is now available in the UK, the previous model the NC10 has always been a good netbook and now Vodafone is offering it to free for those who sign up to a two year contract.

Samsung announced the successor to the NC10, the aptly named NC20, a few months ago and this small laptop is now on sale in the UK and the US.
Disney and Asus have teamed together to produce a new netbook that is designed for children between the ages of 6 and 12. The Intel ATOM powered netbook, which has both watchful parents and curious kids in mind, includes more than 40 robust parental control options and extra filters on the Browsers and email. These extra filters assure that parents are able to control online safety and content for their children, and can easily select with whom their children can correspond via email.
