Overview
Recently I was given a Sony Vaio X Series to have a go with and review for your pleasure. So after digging through a big box to find what looks like a serious contender for world's smallest laptop, I've been using it regularly for the past fortnight. Here's my thoughts.
Sony has taken the wraps off its new line of mini notebooks called the Vaio W series. These small 1.66GHz netbook like machines are designed to be very portable and are aimed at those looking for a second PC which they can carry about. Sony foresees a group of users who will use these new chic notebooks as they wonder around the house from room to room surfing the web, checking email and social networking.
Another little Sony stunner shown off at this year’s CES was the new Sony Vaio P Series Lifestyle Notebook. It comes in some gorgeous shades; garnet red, emerald green, crystal white
With a brand name such as Sony you know your going to be getting a laptop from a highly established manufacturer. As well as this, Sony are also known for their lightweight and stylish laptops combined with power.
To get your hands of one of these gems of a laptop that include all these features, you would either need to sell your kids or opt for the more legal option of re-mortgaging the house!
Well those days seem to be in the past for us, as Sony are bringing out a laptop within the £400 price tag. But what does this Sony laptop have to offer? Do we get the well known Sony make or a cheap alternative with a Sony logo thrown on?
