Today we are going to look at the Cygnett Micro rechargeable speaker. The Micro is a portable stereo speaker unit, the type you plug into your iPod, or mobile phone, and annoy people on the bus with. Joking apart, if you are traveling about and you like to hear your music while moving about, untethered by headphone cables, these speakers can come in useful.

Occasionally you get something through your door to review that falls into the WTF category, and the iBlink headphones are just such an item. These headphones are unique in that each earbud contains three LEDs that blink in time with the music.

The cost of storage per gigabyte (or should we now say per terabyte) is always falling and is at an all time low. But at the same time the amount of data we generate is growing and this data needs to be backed up. In years gone by we could save our few documents to a floppy disk but now we have photos, music and films occupying gigabytes of space on our hard disks.
Fortunately for us all, getting and connecting an external hard drive has never been easier or cheaper. Windows, Apple and Linux all support external USB drives and I have compiled a list of 10 huge external hard drives to help you backup your data.

I must admit I am a bit of a flash drive fan. I don’t think you can have too many of them. I remember my first, a measly 64MB (that is megabytes not gigabytes). If someone says camcorder to you, I bet you automatically think of big bulky things that you need a special little bag to carry around, not to mention arms of steal to hold in place for any length of time. Even the supposedly small ones are sometimes a big hassle to carry with you, so most people will settle for a digital camera, and leave the camcorder at home unless they know for sure they’re going to use it.
Well, those days are well and truly drawing to a close with the recent launch of the Flip Mino HD. When they call it the worlds smallest video camera, the weren’t kidding.

So I got bored the other weekend and had a little surf around the net, and ended up finally buying a new USB memory stick. I really wanted a novelty one, but they’re so expensive! So I settled on a normal one, but carried on looking at the funky things I’d never have. Until I [...]

So April Fools Day is next week. I know its not exactly a wildly celebrated holiday once you get past the age of about ten, but sometimes everyone gets the urge to be just a little bit… wicked. But buckets of water on top of the door or cling film on the loo seat just [...]
