Snore Stopper: Try a little shock therapy with that snoring partner!

Author: Jen | Files under Cool Gadgets

Snoring: “A rough, rattling noise made on inspiration during sleep by vibration of the soft palate (the back of the roof of the mouth) and the uvula (the prominent structure dangling down at the back of the mouth).”

Right, well whatever the reason behind snoring, it can ruin a good night’s sleep, and relationships! My grandmother actually had the spare bedroom re-decorated as her own as she couldn’t stand another night of my grandfather’s infernal snoring.

Thankfully, there are many remedies nowadays. And here’s an interesting one; the Snore Stopper.

The Snore Stopper is worn on the wrist like a watch and delivers tiny electrical pulses as soon as it detects a sound whilst the snoring subject is sleeping. This doesn’t hurt or wake the snorer, but rather encourages them to move into a different position that will stop the snoring.

The intensity of the electric pulses can be selected on a scale of 1 to 10. So if you’re sleeping next to a walrus, make sure you whack it up to 10 when they’re not looking! Contact gel (similar to that used with Slendertone Flex Belts etc) must be used for safety.

So if you suffer sleepless nights thanks to a snoring partner, treat them to the Snore Stopper. I can’t guarantee a welcoming response, but it’s got to be worth a try, right?

You want cruel?? How about this then. I knew someone, who was so fed up of being disturbed by her friend’s snoring at sleepovers, that she would go and hold her nose until she stopped snoring!!!
