The Easter break long weekend seems to have had a lot of people working when they should of been resting!

And as usual, Apple made their way to the headlines of rumorville with a new netbook styled device. The all important Wall Street Journal claims that, “people privy to the company’s strategy say Apple is working on new iPhone models and a portable device that is smaller than their current laptop models but bigger than the iPhone or iPod Touch”.

Now this is a massive claim, as we don’t even get any sources for the infomation. Last year however, in what now supports these rumors, Steve Jobs said that the company had some “interesting ideas” about a netbook device.

The interesting question from all this is will Apple show this device off at the World Wide Developers Conferenece (WWDC) in June? If they do, the event is going to be massive for Apple as the new iphone is almost definitely going to be there, the release of Snow Leopard looks certain, the new iPhone 3.0 update should be there also and then to top it all off with a portable device….WOW, bring on the WWDC.
