Doom 4 to set the next PC graphical platform

John Carmack, who, in the PC gaming world is known as the ‘tech god’ has gone on record at the QuakeCon event in Texas saying that Doom 4 will use three times the horsepower than Doom 3.

During that time Doom 3 set a new standard in the gaming PC spec for an Action game and left many fans of the Doom series crying all the way to their local PC shop, as the demands to play the game required most users to bin their computers and bring home a nice new shiny model.
