I use it to link music on youtube, nearly obsessively in fact. I know a number of people subscribe to my stream specifically to pick up music recommendations.

I totally agree with the fact the Digg has gotten too big for ordinary people to join in easily. Twitter is much easier for you to keep in touch with your friends as well so it serves two purposes.

Well I use both Digg.com and Twitter however twitter is easier for the average person to get into and see some results than digg. An average Digg user honestly doesn’t have a chance in hell of making it to the front page. So Digg takes I think a greater deal of time and commitment than Twitter.

Um…does it matter? Twitter, Digg, YouTube and Facebook are all category leaders. Each serves a different purpose. You can’t compare them.

I’m a big fan of Mixx too- it’s still small enough for there to be some interesting sites without any politics involved in whose submissions go to the top of the rankings.
