O2’s 3G iPhone Frenzy Goes Pear Shaped!
With the launch of the must have gadget the 3G iPhone yesterday, you would assume that out of all the days yesterday, O2 would have got their systems in tip top conditions to rewards their customers with the much anticipated 3G iPhone. Instead, it turned into a total O2 nightmare which left thousands of Apple fans without an iPhone.
It all went a bit pear shaped as thousands of registered customers who had been texted with an update that the phones were available, rushed to their PCs to order their phones online only to find that the system had crashed. They were then told to ring customer service only to be advised that they couldn’t take order until Friday!
