Virgin Media to launch 50MB Broadband!
Not content with being one of the UK’s fastest broadband providers in terms of speed, Virgin Media has just confirmed it is to release a new Broadband package that will offer users a massive 50MB download speed that will make internet surfing so fast you might not be able to keep up with your browser.
It will also mean files such as MP3 and streaming movies can be downloaded even faster for a much more enjoyable experience.
Virgin Media have been testing this new technology out for over a year now after claims from the speed-tester industries pointing out tests are not accurate for high-end broadband packages.
Set for release late December we’ll just have to wait until then to see how this 50MB broadband measures up for us internet addicts.

That’s presumably 50Mb/s (Megabits per second) – which is very impressive. Presumably it paves the way for ultra-fast movies and content on demand, as Virgin are in the content business so much these days?
