Ok, everyone has done the (heavy breathing) “I am your father”, Darth Vader impression at least 500 times (well if all other party tricks fail…) but imagine the momentary panic on the other person’s face when they turn around and see not you with your hands cupped over your mouth, but Vader himself. You can now get kitted up in their ”Star Wars Darth Vader Collector’s (Supreme) Edition Adult Costume”. Phew, my voice feels authentically raspy after that mouthful.
This particular outfit is an officially licenced Star Wars, Revenge of the Sith costume, meaning that short of leading your own Clone Army against the Sepratists in a galaxy far, far away, this is as close as you’re going to get to the
real thing.
The Darth Vader costume comes complete with flaring cape, moulded armour pieces, adjustable helmet and supreme edition mask, all cast from original Lucas Studio moulds. There is also a Breathing Device included which I think is absolutely necessary to save your throat from keeping up the Vader voice for hours on end.
For those of you who like to stray from the story and can’t do the villain thing without a side-kick, there is a dark lord costume for your pet pooch, complete with helmet, cape and belt. Walkie-time could suddenly become a lot more interesting, especially if your neighbour has similarly themed himself and his Fido in the style of a Jedi Knight.
This authentic Adult Darth Vader costume is on sale for $699 (£350) from Halloween Costumes dealer BuyCostumes.com here and can be fast shipped to the UK so you’ll receive it in time to use the force in your next Star Wars marathon session. The dark lord costume for your pet pooch can be found here.

Ha! I saw those over at DealTaker.com the other day and was immediatly jealous that I didn’t have the cash to throw down on that one. How awesome would it be to show up to the Halloween party in THAT!

I totally agree. I think once you owned this costume you’d have to find as many parties as possible to wear it to- it would be great for your social life!
