It looks as though the ‘lonely’ USB ports on the Nintendo Wii maybe getting some friends to play with as rumours are flying that they are planning to release some USB devices for the console.
So what has fuelled these rumours? Well news is that Nintendo are looking for a software/hardware tester to work in their Washington department, but more specifically states that they will be responsible for “creating and executing a test plan for Wii USB devices”.
All I can say is…very interesting, especially after Nintendo reported only months back that they weren’t going to be releasing any USB devices for the Wii, especially a USB Hard Drive. So does this mean Nintendo will be eating their own words or have they got something else planned under their sleeves? Only time will tell so let’s watch this space…
