I have tried several of these PC remote access programs, with varying degrees of success. I think the iPad will really usher in the CPU power and screen size necessary to enjoy these programs because, for me, I was really limited by screen size.

LogMeIn Ignition isn't too bad actually- an annual subscription will set you back USD$39.95 (£24.90) per year or USD$7.95 (£4.95) per month.

I guess it depends on what you intend to use different LogMeIn services for as there are definitely cheaper services out there, but as you say you only pay for a certain number of features.

Looks pretty cool, but what will be the price of this Ignition? I've used LogMeIn Rescue in the past, and it was way too pricey. I'm currently using a service called Techinline Remote Desktop (www.techinline.com) which is not as fully-featured, but is more than enough to run connections with my remote clients and transfer files, and the catch is I'm now paying abour a quarter of what I was paying for the Rescue service.
