“Darling…Look Where I’ve Been Today on the Gtrek”

As summer approaches, I’ve already seen people obsessively counting how many steps they’ve taken in a day to burn off their much needed calories to get themselves in shape for their beach holidays. Well, instead of looking like a looney as you walk past someone in the office counting the number of steps you’ve walked, take a giant leap into the world of gadgets at a new and intriguingly named product called Gtrek, which does all the steps and calorie counting (…and more) for you!

As you move around with this device turned on, it will use satellites much in the same way as your car GPS does but this device will keep a record of everywhere your signal moves to. When you are done, you can hook this up to your PC or laptop by using its software to see an actual ‘history log’ of where you have been since the device was activated all through the use of Google Earth.

So if you need to prove to your partner that you did take the dog ‘for a walk’ or did that errand for them then this device will be the perfect little piece of evidence you could ever need to get you out of the dog house!

  1. [...] The GTrek is a GPS tracking device that allows you to upload your daily travels onto Google Earth and lets you show off to your friends and family any potential ‘beauty’ spots you may have found whilst on your adventures. As well as this, it’s great for getting yourself out of trouble with the missus if you need to convince her that you did actually take the dog for a walk and you weren’t just stood outside the house having a fag for 20 minutes whilst the dog looked at you all forlorn. You can find a previous post on it here. [...]
