Late Arrival: Garmin Nuvi 850 Is Introduced
The guys at Garmin have certainly been working their socks off to offer us some new nuvi navigation delights. First they announce at the CES that they will be bringing out two new nuvi navigators, the Forerunner 405 watch and Colorado handheld and now it would seem that they are introducing a late arrival and miss the CES boat, the nuvi 850.
The nuvi 850 has a 4.3 inch 480 x 272 resolution touchscreen to compensate for the lack of hands free calling with wireless Bluetooth. Along with this it has many high end features such as voice recognition, FM traffic compatibility, MSN Direct, text-to-speech, and the car locator.
If you’re in the US you’ll be able to pre order it from Amazon for about $800. I’m not too sure when it is likely to be available in the UK yet.
