Sony could be already bringing a rival streaming service to the massive iTunes from Apple. The new service, if the rumours are true, is likely to be announced today. This will be coincidently be happening just around the same time as tonight’s streamed Apple event which is expected to have a streaming service revealed.

The service is expected to involve Sony’s PlayStation 3, and then later get Vaio computers and Bravia HDTV’s later in the year. It is also expected that the Sony Ericsson phones will use the service.

The announcement of the service is expected tonight at IFA in Berlin. It’s good to see the potential of some competition towards Apple.
