It has been rumoured that Droid X’s QWERTY cousin the Droid 2 is expected to be released in August on Verizon.

However, this has certainly comes as no surprise especially as there are reports that Motorola’s popular phone of last year, the Droid is expected to be killed off due to the release of the recent Droid X and now the rumoured launch of the Droid 2.

However, if you’re a tad bit sick of all the Droid and iPhone news and regard yourself as a bit of a Blackberry aficionado then it has been revealed that the Curve 3 and Storm 3 are also a possibility for a ‘holiday’ launch.
