After spending countless hours hacking, it would appear that famous hacker Geohot has finally completed the iPhone 4 jailbreak.
However, it would appear that just before you all get excited, Geohot has put an dampener on the whole excitement by revealing that he will not be advising of release dates anytime soon.
“Again, please don’t ask for release dates. Every person that does makes me want to release a little bit less.”
Usually, shortly after a Jailbreak, Geohot tends to release details of a release date, however for some reason he is remaining tight lipped about it all. Gadget blog, Gadget Venue have suggested that perhaps Geohot is waiting for the next firmware update to be released (iOS 4.0.1) so he can reveal details of the hack. It would certainly appear to be the likely reason for Geohot’s silence on a release date. What do you think? Leave your comment below…

I think he is waiting till 4.01, if he releases before they would find out how he did it and block it if it hasn’t already been blocked. Then he has until 4.02 to examine 4.01.
i think he is waiting for new firmware
however is it possible apple have asked to jailbreak iphone4 so they can possibly prevent it from happening
lets face it pay someone enough money they will sell out
why hold back on releasing it other wise
Think everyone is stsarting to piss him off with constant bombardment of his blog and twitter with ” When will it be released ” I would not blame him for just walking away from it all to be honest
If I owned Apple I would offer him a ridiculous sum of money to keep his gob shut or better still a job!!! perhaps this is what he is up to, negotiating with the big boys!!
