Samsung Galaxy S2 i9200 Specs Leaked with Launch Expected for 2011

Seems like, rumour mills just never stop working. The latest rumour buzzing around is about Samsung Galaxy S2 i9200, whew, that’s a mouthful name!

According to leaked reports, the Galaxy is going to be equipped with 2GHz processor. It is likely to be launched in 2011. If you have a look at the leaked photographs, you will see that this lean mean machine scores well in the looks department too. But the real scoop is about its hardware.

So, grab a bucket of salt, and start going through Galaxy’s lascivious hardware specs. Galaxy is likely to feature 4.3 inch Super AMOLED 2 touchscreen with sweet 1280×720 resolution. Its 1GB RAM will accompany 4GB of ROM and 32GB of built-in flash memory. The camera is going to sport good 8 MPs and is expected to support HD video recording. The usual bling-bling of Bluetooth and WiFi is also present. Just like our dear Apple iPhone 4, Galaxy will also sport an accelerometer with Gyroscope.

The biggest rumour is about its OS as the device is likely to run Google 3.0, which itself is in the ‘rumour stage’. After tons of webpages devoted to the likely features of Google 3.0 started floating around, Google chose to quip that “rumours are not official announcements.” Anyhow,  2011 is going to be an exciting year.

I would like to see how this one turns out in the end!! Besides, the HTC HD 3 was a rumour and in the end turned out to be fake and too good to be true.

  2. Robert says:

The OS is called Android 3.0 not Google 3.0. And accelerometer and gyroscope is nothing new in the Android world, pretty much all Android-based smartphones have these.
