For those of you in the UK that may have pre-ordered your iPad in time for the release date tomorrow (May 28th), it would appear that you maybe rewarded for pre-ordering earlier as it has been reported that some lucky iPad customers will be receiving their shiny new Apple tablet today!
Recombu are already reporting that pre-order customers are seeing updates on their delivery schedules, with some iPad stating ‘Out For Delivery’ already.
Could this be Apple’s attempt at saying thank you to all those Apple fans that have pre-ordered their iPad early. Well, whatever the reason it will certainly be a nice surprise for those lucky iPad customers who could be receiving their iPad goody in the post today.

just had a call off my wife to say the UPS have delivered the ipad – can’t wait for home time!!!!
My other half pre-ordered an iPad. It’s just arrived this morning (27th May). He is out at work and I am very tempted to open the box and play! I shall wait and let him open box though…half the fun of getting a new gadget!
TNT just delivered my ipad! (Darwen, Lancashire) It is currently syncing to my itunes! had a quick play with it first though and oh my lord this screen is amazing!
What part of the UK are you in? Apple say mine is out for delivery, but the UPS site says it is Rescheduled :-(
My wife also confirmed delivery…can’t wait to get home!!!

People on forums were worried they would be put on hold at the last minute at the delivery depots until launch day but no – Well done Apple for releasing them early.

Yep Ipad delivered at 11am this morning to my office – whole place is amazed by it and already putting their grubby fingerprints all over the screen!!!
Ipad arrived today from UPS. I live in Wales. Not opened the box yet, want to make it a special occasion..
Well those who have got them well done but i ordered mine on the first pre order day and i am still waiting, not well done apple feel a little cheated as from 8 tommorow fri i can go and buy one why pre order had my cash for 2 weeks what a load of rotton apples..
iPad + dock + case arrived 2pm, London. Ordered on 2nd day.
Mine arrived 10am this morning, lovely piece of kit but am already having to defend it to people who “don’t get it”.
I ordered mine on the first day, I’m from London, TNT says Out For Delivery, but still haven’t had anything! I need it now!

UPS tracking has said ‘Out For Delivery’ since 6am this morning – still waiting (not very) patiently – thank god I work from home…but mighty hard to concentrate! Come on UPS!!!
Yes! Mine has just arrived. As it is past 5pm I was beginning to think they were not going to deliver mine today, but the driver did say he has been delivering a load of these today, so no doubt they are busier than usual. So without further ado, I’m now off to unbox my brand new iPad. Good luck to everyone else still waiting. It’ll be worth it!
I pre-ordered my iPad the first day it came out… it’s said Out for Delivery since 9:00 this morning and still hasn’t arrived… NOT HAPPY TNT!
I preordered on the May 10th-a mate of mine ordered on the 12th. His arrived today-mine didn’t, despite the TNT tracking log saying it was out on delivery. I phoned Apple to question their lack of control over delivery. That’s what you get for being a longterm apple supporter – peed on from a great height. There is talk of a ‘goodwill gesture’ but we’ll see…
I just rang TNT as I’m still waiting, and I’ve just been told that the Depot has no idea where the driver is. He isn’t answering his phone or replying to any messages…Now that is worrying.

So-it’s now the 28th. My ipad was not delivered yesterday, but returned to the depot due to “time constraints.” Still no sign of it- and no-one is answering te phone at TNT.
I pre-ordered my ipad and it still has not arrived or been dispatched for that matter.
