If you think you need to be rich to own a Vaio then you might want to think again as Sony have just launched the Vaio M Series Mini Notebook at a much lower price of £300.

So what will you get for your money? An Intel Atom N450 processor, a 10 inch LED display and 250 GB hard drive.  It weighs just a tiny 1.3 kg and comes packed with a Motion Eye camera for video chat, WiFi, Bluetooth and 3 USB ports.

Although we would have loved the notebook to come in some of the Vaio’s tasty colours, unfortunately the Vaio M will only feature in the black or white.

It is expected to hit the shops right now so if you’re looking for a smaller and budget priced Vaio then the Vaio M is sure to do the trick.
