Well thanks for coming back to let us know Ken,it can be helpful for people that come across these reviews in the future.

Sorry that you're handset isn't quite all you had hoped for, I too came to the same conclusion when I managed to get my hands on a review handset a few months back...what are you thinking about changing it in for?

Four months ago I wrote glowingly of this phone. Here's an update. My earlier comments were naively phrased. Whatever the antonym of, 'glowingly" is, that's the way I feel about it now. I'd go into the details but I have neither the time nor inclination. There's nothing I like about this phone. Oh, you can do lots of things with it but doing them is a pain in the ass. Now I'm just trying to figure out how to dump it without taking too much of a financial bath.

I hate and I mean HATE this phone! I can not navigate with the "stylus" or by touch. The touch feature on this phone is the worst ever, I have dialed so many people that I did not mean to call! The touch screen is not "spot on", it's about 3/4 of an inch off and never know what I am going to get when I want to perform a function. I rotating screen thing is about 10 seconds behind my life. I could go on and on, it's going back that's for sure, what a piece of junk!!

store.markspace.com

they have a software that is able to sync up any device that runs Windows Mobile 6 to your Mac.

Im glad your liking the phone KenJr, as I was reading your comment I noticed you said you are having problems storing your photos on your memory card, well I might just have the solution for you just follow the steps below

1) Start the camera just like you were taking a quick photo

2) On the menu screen on the left there will be an icon that looks like a clog and spanner, click on this

3) now your on the setting screen, click on the icon that looks like a clog and spanner once again

4) Your first option to change should be 'Default Storage' if you click on that you should be able to change where your photo/videos are saved, my memory card is called 'My Storage' on my phone

5) Click 'OK' to save your changes

And there we go all your snaps should now be saved on the memory card instead of the phones internal memory. If you have any more questions please feel free to ask

Being an older guy who is having an awful time keeping up with today's technology, what I appreciate most about the Omnia is the intuitiveness of it. It's fun to use; it's easy to use; and it's not hard to figure out. When I have a question that the manual doesn't cover sufficiently, I just go to google and ask. Results have been great (having an iMac is what brought me here). As it turns out, my cheap Vista laptop can now be used at times other than during travel thanks to my Omnia.

The manual points out the fact that it's good to be able to put photos from its excellent 5 megapixel camera onto the internally mounted micro SD card. The only problem is, it doesn't tell you how to do that. It only tells you how to transfer photos from your computer to the Omnia's SD card. So this is my only complaint so far, the Omnia can't store its photos directly onto the SD card. You must send the photos from the Omnia to your computer then back to the Omnia's SD card. I was looking forward to transferring photos directly from my Omnia to the SD card slot in my television.

This is an amazing phone/web browser/camera/exel and Word tool/email tool/iPod equivelent/etc. ... I really do love this gadget.

Oh, I read the comments about Omnia bugs. So far, I haven't found a single one (unless you want to call the photo to SD issue a bug). One thing I'm appreciating is the long life of its battery. On learning something like this, a lot of hours go into practicing. The battery holds up beautifully. In a few days I should be receiving my Omnia to TV connector. It'll be nice to show my non-technical friends some of, for instance, those really excellent YouTube presentations.

I have had the Omnia as well for a week or so and i love it. It is my favorite phone i have ever used. I have not received any problems other than not being able to connect to a mac. I have no regrets in getting this phone.
