Although Steve Balmer revealed that Window Phone 7 is to be released at the end of the year, Engadget China have confirmed that LG could be preparing for the launch of its first Window Phone 7 Series handset between September and November.

Confirmation came after Chinese Engadget reported back from a meeting they had with LG Mobile in Hong Kong at a Chinese New Year event, in which they revealed the truth about the September launch date rumour.

However, it is not only LG that have jumped onto the Window Phone 7 bandwagon. Motorola announced a few days ago that they would be diversifying their product mix by introducing a brand of phones which will include Windows Phone 7.
