BBC and ITV Join Forces to Offer Subscription Free HD Digital Satellite Service
I was surprised to hear this coming from my lips…but ITV and BBC have joined forces to launch a nationwide free-to-view digital satellite service.
Named “Freesat”, the name definitely lives up to what it will offer which would be access to 200 channels, plus full digital satellite activity and high definition capability without paying a subscription fee!
The service is planned to be launched for spring 2008 which could be good news for us but bad news for Mr Murdoch and his gang. Read more about it on The Independent
