So this is a concept gadget, but a real contender for release apparently.

Not content with annoying the hell out of everyone on the train by playing your music at loud volumes despite the fact that the whole point of headphones is to STOP everyone having to listen to your stuff? Well now you can blind them at the same time with Vizio Headphones. They have a LCD displays on either earpiece, which can be set to show a visualizer, and potetially the album art (in case we want to know what the thudding sounds actually are) or just your general photos.

Pretty pointless for the owner since they can’t actually see them, but at least you can now display ‘I’m not listening to you go away’ on your ears just in case the people around you didn’t get the message.
