Hi Mo, you obviously feel strongly about this subject and rightly so! I totally agree with you here, on all your points. All i meant by the question “is a prototype worth a life?” was just to highlight the fact that a prototype really isn’t worth a life at all. It just goes to show the emotional strain when a big company like Apple is involved!

This article just highlights the sad state of news/journalism, if you can even call it that, in the Internet age. Is a prototype worth a life? What a ridiculous and irrelevant question for Sun Danyong, who obviously, for whatever reason, felt enough emotional distress to take his own life. That IS the reality. Is a prototype worth a life to someone who is thinking completely rationally and under no emotional strain whatsoever? Of course it isn’t, and to ask the question is an insult to the tragedy of the situation–a human being felt so much emotional stress and pressure as to believe that the only way out of the situation was to kill himself.
