XBOX beats PS3 in Japan

It seems the worse has happened to Sony, with Japan sales of the Microsoft XBOX 360 walking all over the Sony Playstation 3.

This has been due to the release of the RPG Tales of Vesperia which is an XBOX exclusive and until recently the series appeared only on the Nintendo console.

But with the XBOX numbers for this week topping 28,116 and the PS3 at 10,705. It’s still the mighty Nintendo who are standing tall with just over 41,044 of units sold.

So could it be that Sony execs might start re-thinking its gaming line-up or will they just lay back and take the beating? Only time will tell
